A NEW CALLING IN LIFE...OR JUST CHURCH

Last night I went and hung out with a good friend of mine. This friend and I usually always have some pretty good conversations. Those who know me know that I like to just talk sometimes. I would take a good conversation over a movie any day. So this 4 hour conversation had some very interesting topics to it ranging from religion, dating, marriage, friends, and many other things. It was really funny because we both made each other realize things. I hadn't had a conversation of that nature in quite a while and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But of course as usual it made me think about alot of things that I really havent thought about. You would think that with all of these realizations I keep having that I would have life figured out by now, but I am probably the farthest from that. Just this past sunday I recieved 2 callings at my church, one of which is a teacher. Up to this point in my life I have thought that the Lord has taught me quite a bit and that I was doin pretty good. But when the Lord gives you a calling to teach the gospel it means that he wants to teach you some things, because you are learning as well as the students. So I am really looking forward to getting to teach and to learn. And I look forward to this class as being a discussion forum since the only thing better than a good one on one conversation is a group discussion. I reall think that I will enjoy it. Bring it on!!
